Tekken 5 tournie today went good, I had a blast and placed in the top 10. Meeting with Fearon syko rekordz and yourmerch.com went smooth as usual. fearon thinks the world of us, and is suped about future prospects. especially about making movies and videos, the only thing seperating us from that is $3500 bucks. Fearon already said he’s got a g note on it when we’ve got loot, so i’m thinking by mid year we might add a production branch to our business.
We got plent of talent lined up for it, why not? We’re gonna do it and nothing, not even a couple thousand dollars, is going to stop us. Our hustle is just too strong to be held back by some lame shit.
I feel like i’ve not written down anything significan in a long time in this journal.
New years was off the hook. My friends from barns and noble, adam and liz, and leah and bronwyn and I rolled out to newport for the new year kick off. We got sushi at sumo sushi and went drinking @ the irish pub.
what else is new… me and mike are a team now, Custom Digital is the name of our business. We;ve been working up in the netsense office a lot this week. I always felt I would end up in their office working at one point, but this way is a suprise. We’re a good team, and we’re making moves. My plan is to spend one of these days making up a list of all the big web designer and mapping out where they are at in the wold. I also wanna know where all the big conventions are at. For example, there is a photoshop conference cmoing up in las vegas, at mandolay bay hotel. I want to go, its $499 bucks for the entire expo, not counting rooms and airfare. Mike’s mom is a flgith atttendent, so he flys free and I could fly with him for like $70 bucks. I believe thats how we’re goin to get on an interstate hustle with this web design shit.
I plan to be on hillman curtis’s heels in a couple of years, i need more time to grow and evolve my game. One adventage he’s got going on is that he doesn’t have to worry about school. I can’t get a full-time hustle going with school, but i do put in the work so really, whats the dif? I’m not on his level yet, but i;m on the way. I like how he gives speeches too, and I plan on doing that as well. I’m a good public speaker, in fact did u know I’ve taken speech class 3 times (2 times for no credit) and got an ‘A’ each time? I take ‘em over and over for pratice, and I plan on doing the same at URI. NO FEAR!
Monty is the man with the hookup for prints! He’s got a job @ Kinko’s working 3rd shift, and he gets all the free prints he wants. He said if i want anything done, he’ll print it for me. So, I’m designing a baner thats ”44 by ”60 for custom digital and I’m going to hang it up on the wall of the lab. Netsense has the same thing, and its funny because i saw it the day after i planned on making one. syncrinicies are a funny thing, and i totally believe in them, cause I’ve read a lot of carl jung.
Speaking of that, I’ve started up a dream journal again. and to those people that hate on that, especially dudes who think its gay to keep a dream journal, you can bite my lucid ass! I’ve discovered some amazing things in that dreamstate and recently i’ve not been able to continue my adventures and research cause i can’t remember my dreams. Its not an account of smoking too much pot, like i use to, no… its more that i have not been writing them down. writin them down really increses recall and lucidity.
I’m red belt, 2 stripes @ ninjutsu. Roger says i’m talented and really good for my level. He says the only difference between me and jim+andrew is time. Big compliment, and my huble self says its not true, however, all mr. nice guy shit aside, its the truth. I am born for martial arts, its like second nature to me. It makes soo much sense and i pick it up quick from past exp. Thats my story and I’m sticking to it.
Starbucks is way too easy, I don’t get enough hours but then again, i don’t think thats much of a problem. It gives me enuf money to pay my bills and enuf free time to work on web design. nice combo.
bronwyn is off to NY to see katie jean. Katie is her friend from back in the day when she went to the waldof school in upper state new york. She is involved with thearter, tech thearter and works for shakespear and company. Well katie has a thing to contra dancing, and she and bronwyn are going to new hampshire to go do that. Normally, I roll to ny with bronwyn, but this time i didn’t get invited because they need some girl time… meah, i understand tho, and i’d feel like an ass if i went up there too many times with her. Too clingy for my charecter, i’m an independent caporcorn/aquarian… i gotta handle a lot of work back at home too. The should have a great time!
i’ll know what i’m talking about when i read this a year from now. cause i’m writing this for me, not you afterall
