kick your own ass

Heh.. i’ve had a total of 6 hour of sleep in the last two days. I’m feeling better though, i feel like i need to be kicking my own ass more lately.

The URI commercial drops are a piece of cake now, i finsihed two in 4 hours tuesday. Newport mansions ramtour drop is playing right now, and the mystic drop will be airing by monday. This job i have is such a joke…

Web design is good, DW is ready to cut me a check, south county pediatrics signed on for another year, Montessori dropped off the map again, and Syko Rekordz is in the final stages. For syko WE went back and redid the main table layouts whic h is a pain in the ass from a design standpoint. We’ve put in a lot of work in this project, we’re looking at this like work experience, because the profit won’t be able to fully out-weigh the cost this time around. We’re looking at this thing in a long term though… pay your dues, you get props(profits?). I’m estimating we’ll see about a grand each when all is said and done.

Mike and I talked to Monty last night in providence… i said to mike and monty last night ‘in a couple of years, we’re gonna look back on this, remenissing about meeting at Kinko’s on Thayer street at 1 in the mornin, making prints and planning our moves…’ i already feel nostalgic… anyway the point of last night was to introduce mike and monty and get them on the same page for the photoshoot tuesday. Mike has a model coming in from boston for a side project he’s working on, and monty is going to shoot with him.

Monty is really talented photo-manipulator, and he’s got a style influenced by gaming culture. I like it alot. We’re going to build him a website on RIart soon.

Speaking of RIart, mike and I suspect i would take about 10 days to buld the database the way we like it. We’re still figuring out how we want to market this thing. I’m learning more towards a selected crowd of serious artists rather than a free-for-all deviantart type of deal.

Once we finish Syko rekordz, we’re going to go back and make our own pages shine. Custom Digital Dot Net has not seen any love for months, we’ve been too busy with clients to work on our own stuff.

Oh, My playstation 2 decided it wanted to work for me… this thing goes in and out of functioning… and i’m playing tekken 5 now. I’m am so going to OWN people at tilt now that i have it at home! I could hang and beat most of ‘em before, while they were praticing at home.. hehe this will be fun.

Aight, i have to program some visual basic crap for school… i can’t wait to get out of computer science major. I rather hire programmers than do it myself, i should have followed my instincts and avoided a semister in this major…. soon enuyf though, summer school and a new major.

I have a belt test tonight too… ranking for red/black belt. The last of the fire belts, i’ve been ready for this test for two months now. Its going to be c-a-k-e!
